Ingredients
For the Beet Hummus
- 8 oz breakfast sausage
- 1 tsp butter
- 4 Spinach and Cheese Protein Rounds
- 2 slices American Cheese
- 1/4 cup spinach
Directions
- Heat a small cast-iron skillet over a medium-high flame
- Add the sausage and cook, undisturbed, until browned and crisp, 1 to 3 minutes per side
- Set aside and cover with foil
- In the same pan, add the b utter and Protein Rounds, and cook just 1 minute on each side, or just until warmed through
- Add sausage to one round and top with spinach and cheese
- Top with second round
- Serve with ketchup or your favorite sauce
